Denim Bloused dress
Denim Bloused dress
This denim version is based on the original bloused dress, which in turn was inspired by a mix of a classic shirt dress and 1930’s day dresses.
Although the denim is a dress weight, it still makes up into a more structured garment than the original bloused dress which was made in a soft flowing rayon/viscose mix.
This means the denim version tends more towards the modern aesthetic while the original bloused dress has more of the vintage overtones.
In denim it is a truly useful everyday garment that can be styled in many ways.
It just skims the figure and can be belted to accentuate the waist. The skirt ends just above the knee, and the bodice finishes off with the classic high neckline and shirt style sleeves of a 1930's day dress.
For a modern casual interpretation wear it unbelted and loose, team it with sneakers, slides, or for cooler weather try it layered. Change up the look by cinching in the waist with the self belt.
There is 1 x size 10 available in stock.
The Denim Bloused dress is coming back in February/March 2019 If you are interested in being notified of when - please get in touch through the contact form at the bottom of the page.

The denim used for the Bloused dress is a soft lightweight denim, sourced through a melbourne fabric agent. The indigo colour is achieved without the use of dangerous chemicals. The indigo WILL fade as you wash, giving the dress a more typically denim look whereby the fabric in the seams is darker.
The Bloused dress comes pre-washed and can be washed in your machine on any setting up to 40 degrees..
